Go ahead, go FAST...It's not enough just to make a Street Luge that will get down the hill. A Street Luge must withstand the extra stresses associated with high speeds. The wheels and bearings need to take additional heat generated by higher rpms. The deck must have little or no flex to transfer leaning into effective turning. The Noreaster Sport was built for speed and able to withstand the rigors of going really FAST. |
Street Luging can be a VERY DANGEROUS activity and we recommend you purchase a certified helmet, full leather suit and good gloves. You'll be stopping with your feet so you'll need brake shoes (shoes with extra rubber glued to the bottom). If you have to ride on roads with traffic be extra careful and mindful of local laws. Never ride alone and always use a spotter for traffic. Gravity Sporting doesn't need the negative press from irresponsible street luge pilots behaving badly. Be SAFE, be SMART.
