Gravity powered excitement...
Buttboarding or Classic Luge has been around as long as there have been Skateboards. The true origin of modern Gravity Sports, Buttboarding evolved from the common skateboard piloted in a layback position. Today, Classic Luge enjoys its own spotlight, featuring specialized gear, exciting competitions and enthusiastic fans.
As Buttboarding becomes a more popular and recognized sport, more people will want to experience the thrill for themselves. This will not be a problem since buttboarding equipment is inexpensive and learning to ride a classic luge is not very difficult.

The Classic Luge is meant to be operated in a laid back position on a deck about four feet long. Riding on skateboard style wheels and trucks, pilots are clad in motorcycle helmets
and full leather suits since buttboard pilots have reached speeds in excess of 70 MPH! More about protective equipment >>HERE<<. The great thing about buttboards is they are just as exciting and fun at 25 mph!

GSI invites you to come on out to watch some exciting action with STREET LUGE, BUTTBOARD (classic luge), SPEEDBOARD (downhill skateboard) and now SLALOM Skateboard. Go to GSI for more information. The best way to learn about Gravity Sporting is to attend a Gravity Sport Competition! I'll meet you at the races!
